Join the Brigade    

All local residents are encouraged to become volunteer members of the Brigade. Anyone 16 years or older can apply to become a member. The annual fee is $5.

16 - 18 year olds need the permission of their parents.

Those interested in becoming active members of the Brigade, ie firefighters, are encouraged to attend Wednesday evening training sessions (6:00pm to 8:00pm) at the Brigade Station where they can obtain information as to what is involved.

Before a Brigade Member can attend an incident they must have obtained their "Bush Firefighter" (BF) qualification.

 

All volunteer members are encouraged to support the Brigade at the station in times of emergency or special events such as the Brigade Open Day held in September.
